Career Tip of the day
Gifts

Whatever your gifts are, you need to practice using them while you’re unemployed. You may not be working in a job, but you can still make a contribution to others with your skills and talents. Have you checked to see where you might be able to volunteer service to your church? Could the church use someone to answer phones, care for the grounds, paint a room or visit members? For some of us, giving encouragement, praise and kindness is our special gift and calling. With or without a job, every one of us has the ability to give a smile and offer a helping hand. You may be called to lead and you may be called to follow but no matter your assignment, Jesus has called to give what God has designed you to give. So take whatever ability you have and give it gladly. Then watch for the harvest that will most assuredly come.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I am designed to give to the body of Christ and the glory of God.
- By faith I receive God’s direction about how and where to serve.
- I make a difference in the Kingdom of God.
Word of the Day
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
